Pineapple Strawberry Sangria (Non-alcoholic)
What’s the best way to beat this gorgeous summer heat than with a fresh fruity drink packed with ice cubes? I used grape juice instead of wine as I wanted to share it with my 4-year-old, but I’m sure it goes even better with a nice Rose – try it and let me know how it was š
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Servings: Makes 6 servings
- Requires: Knife, chopping board, muddler
Ingredients
- 1/2 pineapple cut into small cubes
- 1 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
- juice from 1 lemon
- 1 cup grape juice
- 1 bottle sparkling water
- 1 spoon agave or maple syrup (optional)
- 5-6 leaves fresh mint (optional)
- ice cubes for serving
- 1 sliced lemon
Method
- In a medium bowl muddle the pineapple pieces and then transfer into a tall pitcher
- Add the grape juice, lemon juices, the sliced strawberries and mint leaves
- Give it a mix – if you want, you can let the mix in the fridge for 20 minutes for all the flavours to nicely blend
- Before serving, add the sparkling water, lemon slices and the natural sweetener, if necessary
- Serve with plenty of ice cubes š
